When you complete the enquiry form on this website we collect the details you give us: your name, company, phone number, email address and whatever you tell us about your site. If you email or call us instead, we hold the contact details and correspondence you provide.
Our hosting provider also records standard technical information about visits — such as IP address, browser type and pages requested — which is used to keep the site secure and working, and is held only briefly.
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, arrange a site survey, prepare quotations and provide and support our systems. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us and running our business, and, where you go on to become a customer, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and performing that contract.
We will not add you to a marketing list or send you unsolicited marketing without asking you first.
Enquiry form submissions are received and stored by our website hosting and forms provider, and reach us by email. These providers act on our instructions and may process data outside the UK, in which case we rely on the safeguards permitted by UK data protection law. We also share information with our professional advisers and, where we are legally required to, with public authorities.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertising networks.
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 24 months from our last contact with you, so that we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. Where you become a customer, we keep records for as long as we work together and then for seven years, to meet our tax, contractual and legal obligations.
This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not store anything on your device. Fonts and images are served from our own website rather than from third-party services.
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and, in some circumstances, to receive it in a portable form. To make a request, email info@odour-control.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would ask you to raise it with us first so we have the chance to put it right.
