Dust suppression

Dust, brought down

Airborne dust is a health exposure, a visibility hazard and an emissions issue rolled into one. Our systems capture dust at the point of generation — droplet size tuned to bind to airborne particles and bring them to ground, using a fraction of the water of conventional dousing.

Rain guns for aggregates & quarrying

High-throw rain gun assemblies covering stockpiles, crushing and screening operations and large open processing areas — robust, simple, effective.

  • Stockpiles and open storage
  • Crushing, screening and material transfer points
  • Large-area coverage from a single assembly

Mobile dust cannons & misting

Rapid-deployment cannons and atomised misting lines for the dust sources that move — working faces, haul roads and temporary operations.

  • Haul roads and site entrances
  • Waste transfer and processing halls — combined dust and odour treatment in one system
  • Variable droplet size: fine for airborne dust, larger where a degree of wetting is required
  • Available to buy or on weekly hire
How it works

Droplet size is the whole game

Get it wrong in one direction and the droplets evaporate before they ever meet the dust. Wrong in the other and you soak the material, the floor and everything else without capturing much at all. The useful range is narrow, and it moves depending on what you're trying to bring down.

Our rotary atomisers hold a consistent droplet spectrum and let you tune it on site: run the motor fast for a fine mist that binds to airborne particles, slow it down for larger droplets where a degree of wetting is what the material actually needs. The result is less water on the ground, less product used, and more dust captured per litre.

Dust and odour rarely turn up separately. On waste transfer and processing sites the same atomiser line handles both — change the droplet size and the dosed product, and one installation does two jobs.
